What if I purchase a product and discover that it is not what I wanted?

No problem, we haven't stayed in business for over 50 years by selling products to people when they don't want them.  Check out our return policies.

What if I purchase a product and it arrives damaged?

First of all, we try to pack things in such a manner that damage does not occur.   But, if it does please notify us immediately and we will make the appropriate claims to the freight carriers.  In the event a replacement item is not available, we will repair the damage or refund your purchase amount.

What if I need help with a product after I purchase it?

Call 1-800-455-5216 and speak with our sales team!  Our 29+ employees are seasoned veterans of the music business and are well qualified to answer your questions. 

Where is Cape Girardeau, Missouri?

We are located halfway between St. Louis, Missouri and Memphis, Tennessee along the Mississippi River.

How long has Shivelbine's been in business?

Shivelbine's was established in 1949.

What is the warranty policy?

We honor all manufactures warranty periods and terms.  All warranty item repairs must be accompanied with original bill or sale and complete description of problem.   In order to return any item, you must first obtain an RA # (return authorization number).  Please contact our service department:   eshop@shivelbinemusic.com   or call 1-800-455-5216 and ask for service department.

How can I pay for a product I order?

MasterCard, Visa, Discover, Money Order, Certified Bank Check, Personal Check, and of course cash!

Do you offer financing?

Yes, we offer a wide variety of payment options.

Lay-A-Way, 6 month financing, 12 month financing and 24 month financing.  In order to qualify for financing, you must be in the store to fill out the credit application leaving the internet customers out of the loop.  Sorry :(

What guarantee do you offer on used gear?

Nothing leaves the store without working!  As far as how long it will work..........well, you never know.  When we list items for sale we will give them an overall rating of condition.  For the most part, that tells you how the instrument/piece of equipment has been taken care of.

What shipping companies do you use?

We ship almost exclusively UPS, although we can ship by other means if necessary.
